About the Project

Wil Wardle asked us to develop packaging for delivery of their wedding photography projects in 2012.

The brief was to make the experience of receiving supplied digital and print photos more special for the customer. It needed to add value to his brand and set him apart from his competitors.

Our response was based on touch and feel. We carefully selected paper stocks that would honour the experience of opening something as special as wedding day memories.

The box design was deliberately kept simple and then lifted with touches of colour using print details and silk ribbons.

The package contained a custom printed CD with high-resolution images from the day. We also advised that he include 20 of the most powerful images which were digitally printed by a specialist photo printers and carefully wrapped in acid-free paper to prevent degradation over time.
